Inspired by the book Burnout: The Secret to Unlocking the Stress Cycle by Emily Nagoski, PhD, and Amelia Nagoski, DMA, this workshop introduces the concept of “completing the stress cycle.” Many of us learned to “deal with” stress, overwhelm, and exhaustion by ignoring and muscling through. But research now supports that the key to healing our bodies, downregulating our nervous systems, and moving on powerfully is to allow ourselves to complete the stress cycle.

 

In this workshop, we will practice recognizing when we are caught in the stress cycle and identifying the sources of our stress. And we will explore spiritual and embodiment practices that support completing the stress cycle. You might find this program of benefit if you’re seeking to:
