Rooted Wisdom – In Person Cohort

If you have arrived here and have not yet completed a statement of interest, please pause. Fill out the Registration and Commitment form for either the in-person cohort or the virtual cohort. A Second Breath team member will review your submission within two weeks and reach out to you thereafter formally inviting you to complete the registration process. Applications are reviewed on a first-come first-serve basis and enrollment is capped at 16 participants per cohort.

ABOUT THE COURSE

Things can feel dark, the way power is held by governments, religions, and people.

Things can feel fast, the speed of technology and the amount of information we are constantly receiving from news, from work, or socially.

Things can feel lonely, the friendships we are missing and the differences that are keeping us apart.

And yet… staying awake and living into the hope, wonder and beauty around us can powerfully usher into the world more awareness, more well-being, more love.

Together, we will study prophetic voices of our time and discern how our own Divine knowing calls us to be and act for the good of ourselves, our people, and the more-than-human world. This 8-month program will emphasize learning in community, developing a rich and consistent personal spiritual practice, and embodying faith through engaged spirituality.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

Anyone seeking space to:

• deepen their personal relationship with the Divine;
• question assumed belief systems;
• explore what it means to life out your faith, embodied; and
• discover your Call as participant in new creation.

A Note on Pricing

The price of this program is mindful of our mission to offer care. Care to our facilitators in the form of pay. Care for the health of the organization in the way of financial sustainability. We also seek to offer care to the community in the form of accessible classes.

Please know, cost will never be a barrier to accessing these teachings. We know there are folks in our community at various stages of life who are living on fixed income. We will continue to offer and to honor all scholarship requests. To request a partial or full scholarship to any/all Second Breath programs, fill out this short form. We also know some folks are able to pay more than the listed price. If you are able and feel called, you may contribute to the scholarship fund at the point of checkout.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we are funded entirely by our community with 95% of our funding coming from the generosity of individuals and family foundations.
