Your story holds power. Songwriting is one of the oldest ways humans have transformed that power into something lasting and beautiful.

In this experiential mini-retreat, facilitator Louisa Branscomb, Ph.D. will guide you through her original model, Transformational Songwriting, as a doorway to telling your truth. After a brief presentation, participants will access a story or emotion of personal significance and use an elegantly simple songwriting framework to shape it into lyrics. The workshop concludes with time for each person to share, with feedback from Louisa and the group.

You do not need to be a musician. You only need something worth saying.

As part of an effort to help those that are facing financial difficulties, we announced a price decrease for 2026 workshops and course offerings. The price for this workshop was originally $75, but we are now offering it for $15. We think this reduces the barrier for those that are facing economic challenges and also fulfills our desire to swing our doors wide open, be here for the world as it is, and be a place for folks to come to in this time.
