Amy Hoogervorst

Second Breath Conscious Facilitator

Amy Hoogervorst, ACC, NBC-HWC, has been studying and coaching on issues of health and well-being for nearly 10 years. She has additional training in brain health and cognition, mindfulness-based stress reduction, the Enneagram, and expressive writing. Before that, she considered herself a “creative entrepreneur” as a scrapbooking consultant and then photo organizer and, in her first career, she worked as a newspaper reporter and freelance journalist in the Southeast.

In her journey with Second Breath, Amy started first as a student. After taking foundational courses, she became a certified Conscious Facilitator in 2022. Her aim – whether through coaching, consulting, or writing – is to offer grace and space for a healthier you. She has found creativity to be an incredible source of renewal for her individually and for her clients; she is excited to offer Creativity as Spiritual Practice.

We feel so grateful for Amy’s experience and her gift of intentional listening that creates climates of welcome in Second Breath spaces. When she’s not coaching or facilitating programs with Second Breath Center, she enjoys time outdoors and with her family, traveling, writing.
