Chip Bristol is a Greensboro, North Carolina-based author, artist and educator whose work bridges spirituality, creativity and community renewal. A graduate of Taft and Hamilton College, he holds advanced degrees in Divinity and Fine Arts, shaping a lifelong vocation at the intersection of faith and the arts.
Bristol has served in both ministry and education, including roles as school chaplain at Trinity Episcopal School in New Orleans and Headmaster of Canterbury School in Greensboro. His vision for creative and spiritual formation led him to transform a former church-the historic 16th Street Baptist Church-into the Greensboro School of Creativity, a space dedicated to artistic exploration, learning, and spiritual arts.
An accomplished writer and visual artist, Bristol is best known for his spiritual books The Star and Burning Faith, which reflect his deep engagement with faith, imagination, and inner transformation. His creative work continues to explore how art can serve as a pathway to meaning and healing.
