Jacinta V. White, a passionate advocate for creativity, combines her artistic vision with her professional expertise and dedication to community change. She is renowned for her work in enhancing the understanding of the arts’ role and value in healing and community building.
Holding a BA in Speech Communications from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and an MPA in Nonprofit Management from Georgia State University, Jacinta redirected her passion for art and community into founding The Word Project. Through this venture, she offers writing and creative workshops that assist individuals and groups in addressing challenging issues. Additionally, The Word Project publishes Snapdragon: A Journal of Art & Healing, an international online quarterly.
As a corporate trainer, initially with Forsyth Tech Community College and now with her own firm, Deeper Dive Consulting, Jacinta collaborates with various organizations and companies—including Spiro Coaching, Liz deWet, UNC School of the Arts, Duke University Health System, Chevron, and Johnson & Johnson—providing leadership development, retreat facilitation, and coaching services.
