Jen Newman
Theologian, Writer, Activist, Guest Facilitator
Jennifer Newman is the Executive Director of Beacon Hill Friends House, a Quaker center and intentional community in Boston, MA. A Quaker, theologian, writer, and activist, Jen holds a Master of Theological Studies from Vanderbilt Divinity School and brings years of experience in human rights, public interest, and environmental advocacy.
She co-leads Living Into Your Call, a Quaker-rooted vocational discernment program that has served hundreds of participants across the country. Jen writes regularly for Barclay Press’s Illuminate Bible study series, serves on the board of Friends Mutual Health Group, and volunteers with the Boston Debate League.
Jen’s work is grounded in the belief that vocational discernment is not just about career, but about aligning our lives with the movement of Spirit and the needs of the world.
