John de Beer

The Rev. Dr. John de Beer, D.Min, MA, B.Sc., has dedicated his life to adult faith formation, vocational discernment, and spiritual development. He has led retreats and workshops across the country and co-authored The Art of Theological Reflection (Crossroad, 1994). John played a central role in pioneering formation programs such as Education for Ministry and KLESIS, and has served in leadership roles at congregations of various sizes . Now based in Greensboro, North Carolina, he remains active in the movement for racial equity and continues to lead retreats and workshops around vocational discernment, theological reflection and spiritual formation.
