Kristi Leonard
Coach and Guest Facilitator
Kristi Leonard traveled to Chautauqua Institution in the summer of 2024 to learn from Dr. Dacher Keltner, one of the world’s foremost emotion scientists and author of AWE: The New Science of Everyday Wonder and How It Can Transform Your Life. Now, she is bringing what she learned to Greensboro in a half-day experiential learning workshop on the research and praxis of everyday awe.
Kristi has led thousands of groups through a career in market research and her women’s ministry work as an elder at Lake Forest church in Huntersville, NC. She is a professional Life and Leadership coach (PCC, MBA, BCC) and specializes in working with clients who are going through transitions, seeking to rediscover their enthusiasm, and longing to live a life of purpose.
Before coaching, Kristi applied her MBA to a 15-year career at Dell, Procter & Gamble, and Illumination/Radius Global market research. Traveling the country to facilitate and moderate market research focus groups for seven years illuminated for her that part of her life’s purpose was to witness people’s stories and personal transformations.
Since then, she has led dozens of workshops on topics including finding your purpose, narrative and group coaching, empathy, racial unity (Un:Divided curriculum), small group leader training, quieting the busy mind, productivity for teams, and making space for prayer.
Kristi lives in Davidson with her husband of 24 years, her high school-aged daughter, and her yellow lab named Chief. She also has a daughter at Wake Forest, a son at Vanderbilt, and she enjoys rowing, hiking, backyard firepits, and lots of time with friends on the weekends.
