Rev. Michael Yandell, Ph.D. is senior minister at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Greensboro, North Carolina. He spent 4 years in the U.S. Army as an enlisted explosive ordnance disposal (E.O.D.) technician. He earned his Bachelor of Music (Music Education) at the University of Tennessee at Martin; a Master of Divinity at Brite Divinity School in Fort Worth, Texas; and a Ph.D. in religious studies with a concentration in religion, conflict, and peace-building at Emory University. His most recent publication is War and Negative Revelation: A Theoethical Reflection on Moral Injury (Lexington Books, 2022).
Michael lives in Greensboro with his spouse Amy and their 2 dogs (Elsie and Snow).
