Rev. Frank Dew

Rev. Frank Dew, a Wake Forest and Duke Divinity School graduate, is the founding pastor of New Creation Community Presbyterian Church and former Director of Chaplaincy at Greensboro Urban Ministry, where he served alongside those experiencing poverty and homelessness for decades. Rooted in a lifelong commitment to racial justice, affordable housing, and community belonging, Frank has been a steady presence in Greensboro’s faith and justice landscape since the 1980s. He currently serves as Engagement Pastor and Peace and Justice Advocate for Salem Presbytery and sits on the boards of the North Carolina Council of Churches and Bread for the World.

Frank also serves on the board of Recovery Cafe Greensboro, a kinward community partner. He is also the subject of Calling: A Memoir of Ministry by Jeri Rowe, released in August 2025, which traces his lifelong pursuit of justice and what it means to follow rather than simply believe.
